New Akabu EP incl. Motor City Drum Ensemble MixFirst up is You Want It All which features guest vocals from Denmark's Boom Clap Bachelors (whose tracks have appeared on Gilles Peterson and Jazzanova compilations). This leftfield slice of deep house has echoing flute and a multitude of electronic riffs under the Bachelors unusual vocals. Three mixes and an Accapella are included here.

Hip German producer Motor City Drum Ensemble has been creating a stir over the last year with his Raw Cuts series and here he turns out a slamming mix of another Akabu track Searchin', combining a raw Detroit groove with sweet chords, think Prescription Underground's early 90s material

Last but definitely not least is Raw Love featuring Ovasoul7, who you might recall from Deetrons classic I Cling. Moody chords dominate this old school garage style tune, a piece of music that really deserves the term deep house...
