In this mass of minimal, neo-trance and electro-house there had to be another true James Flavour release. The past years this Berlin producer created his very own mixture of minimal and funky house. A real standout to the lush flood of non inspiring clicks and bleeps out there, somebody who inhails the groove and celebrates theChicago and Detroit classics.

'Da Ride' is such a great piece of deepness. A reduced house groover adding bright chords, hip hop snippets anddeep winding synth patterns.

On remix duty you find Jamie Odell aka Jimpster and Audiomontage: 'The UK master of House'. Who has been producing, remixing and DJing for over 15 years now and is running one of the best British House labels called'Freerange'. He is one of our favourite producers and we're very happy to have him on board, you can feel hisbroad musical roots and open minded attitude in this great remix he did for James.

'Raise the roof' on the B-side is the kind of track only James could've delivered. Fuck'd up vocal samples, fatbasslines and a murder minimal house groove. Just the right thing to get the party started.
