UK producer State Azure is back on Silk Music with a brand new EP, "Slipstream," featuring four distinct and refreshing downtempo pieces.

The title track takes off with an array of incredibly lush pad layers and a stunning breakbeat. Numerous sound effects spice up the soundscape, and a breath-taking and energetic theme lead takes over the mix later. In "Moth," a number of hypnotizing arpeggios are quickly introduced, as well as remarkable percussion elements. Throughout the song, the atmosphere is continuously enhanced with countless effects and subtle, yet brilliant melodic layers. "Process" begins with tremendously soothing pads and luxurious arps in the background. A frisky beat lightens up the soundscape, in which many well-structured synth stabs provide additional energy. Last, but not least, "Something Unseen" definitely lives up to its name: a brilliant combination of energetic synth pads, well-crafted percussion elements, and stunning textures makes this song a perfect ending to State Azure's debut EP on Silk Music.
