Ben Biron narrates an intimate three-track immersion through a cross-fusion of organic and electronic vernacular. First, the Israeli DJ/producer deep dives into vulnerability through the pathos of resonance. Impelled by forward rhythms, distant vibrations and deft nature sounds, "No Muse" gleams poignant synth-driven melodies and erratic oscillations for candid introspection. Succeeding the title track, "Efes Ehad" cascades moist undulations and subliminal fluidity. From visceral beat patterns, ambiguous inscriptions and quixotic chords, this track lilts a mind-made labyrinth only its maker can unravel. Ben lets Dorrani in for the third and final leg of the EP. Together, the duo navigates a hypnotic collage of cryptic discourse, mechanical intrusion and intrinsic ancient mystique. Buoyed by an effervescent groove, chimerical enigma and cosmic illusions, "Welcome to Jericho" deconstructs tangible meaning, lending its fragments to unbound re-imagination.
