‘Time Is A Great Architect’ opens the release, offering up a smooth and melodic groove built on a foundation of tight drums and rhythmic percussions. Wispy and dreamy, the track carries a sense of hope that manifests with those infectious pads and deep, droning bass. ‘Vai’ is up next, taking us deeper with a wonderfully constructed deep house cut which is filled with distinct acid house flavours. Tight drums and flurries of classic percussions keep the rhythm flowing as that plucky 303 bassline drives the arrangement. Sweeping chords are joined by intriguing stabs which are interjected throughout, creating a rich dynamic. ‘12 Years’ concludes the release and intros with a cool, organic drum pattern while dreamy chords fade up. A groovy bassline joins the party adding a funky element which marries beautifully with the airy vibes. Subtle melodies peek out of the spectrum, adding a rich layer to the groove. A truly mesmerizing piece that is not to be missed.
