Changes Records
CR002 | 2022-08-19
After the breakout success of her last single '4D at 4am', French rising talent Eugénie now gets remixed by Alev Tav, Francisco Allendes and sspct on Changes Records.
Eugénie has had a swift rise that has seen her partner with YouTube as part of International Women’s Day, become a huge star on TikTok and Instagram while picking up high-profile media support. Her English covers of French hits have been hugely successful as have her own solo tracks like 'Blue', 'Princess,' 'Silence', and most recently '4D at 4am' which now gets three fresh new remixes.
First up is Alev Tav, a fresh Ukrainian artist making a real impact. She has held a successful DJ residency in Kyiv and has now relocated to Ibiza. Her take on '4D at 4am' is a deep minimal house cut with rubbery rhythms. Punchy drums bring weight while the steamy, seductive vocal and tough chord stabs ensure maximum emotional impact.
Francisco Allendes is the Chilean DJ and producer known for diverse house and tech sounds on labels like Desolat, elrow Music and Moon Harbour. He brings organic rhythms and Latin percussion each and every time and this remix is no different. It is an edgy and high-tempo tech-house cut that has rolling snares and hi-hats, tin pot hits and a bustling sense of carnival atmosphere that is primed and ready for summer dance floors.
Last but not least sspct is a veteran producer who chooses to remain anonymous and let their music be their identity. Their version is built on a foundation of hefty kicks that lock you into the groove. Eerie pads swirl around the mix and the vocal take son a more ghostly feel next to gritty synths and shadowy late-night pads.

All three remixes take the original into different but equally vital new territory.
