Three years ago, during the peak of the Covid pandemic, Nico Efstratiou embarked on the writing journey of one of his most eclectic projects to date. The idea for 'Soma Paei' started off with a synth emulating the ebbs and flows of a body.

Athenkhosi Fadana - stage name 'Athimux', joined the project bringing a new dimension to the record through his empathetic and pristine vocals, so much so that Nico wrote a whole new version to re-interpret the subtly of his voice.
