MOON160 | 2022-07-01
Mutation sets to music the dramatic process of transformation from human to ghastly figure. Before the mutation reaches its climax, the human feels strong changes all over the body. From the skin of man grows raven-black feathers, which in a short time cover the entire body. The pulsating heart begins to petrify and finally falls silent. Meanwhile, the eyes turn blood red. But they don't just stay red. Comarum plants begin to sprout and blossom from the eyeball. The mutation is complete.
Rabenschwarz is the setting of the feeling of abandonment and despair. In addition, rage and anger seize the soul of the figure. The being, what once was a human being, has become an ugly raven-black figure, which with this sight, no longer dares to be in company.
Comarum describes the dystopia of being alone and the endless longing to see daylight again. Comarum plants are so-called swamp blood-eyes that grow in bogs. The figure is blind because of its blood eyes. The only opportunity to see again is during the full moon. In this special moonlight, the comarum plants begin to glow fiery red. At these moments, the figure's stony heart briefly begins to beat and a now eerie feeling of warmth and aliveness spreads through her.
Luv & Lee describes the figure's emotional states over the course of a lunar cycle. From the swinging up of anger and rage, to the zenith, until these give way to self-acceptance and lightness at the full moon.
(Ver) Stimmung sets to music the power of the figure, during the phase of the waxing moon. Emotional outbursts are expressed by means of thunder and lightning.
