The born and raised South African artist DJ Kwame has a distinctly African sound, designed through a drum and synth composition that is inevitable to feel while listening to the track.
As Kwame says, 'in my culture, when someone does something big or small, you must do a ritual that invites Amadlozi (Ancestors) to witness your work and to thank them for allowing it to be possible'. On 'Spirit Dance' DJ Kwame is asking his ancestors to join him for the artist's life and here at Nulu we make it happen.
