We celebrate two decades since the release of Appetizers 3LP by Spanish brothers Wagon Cookin'. At the time, late 90s, when jazz and electronic music shook hands on the dance floor, Javier and Luís Garayalde brought out their talent as musicians, replacing samplers with real instruments. The result was an album influenced equally by organic House, Latin rhythmic traditions, Rio de Janeiro melodies and 70s Jazz Fusion. It became an unprecedented critical and public success on the national scene before reverberating on dance floors worldwide. The tracks Earth, Mar and Natural High are perfect examples of their talent.
