Produced by the legendary Masters At Work, "Spread Love" is the brainchild of Soul Groove Music's CEO, Shaheer Williams, who states simply, "How could you go wrong with a record with these two voices on it. Throw in MAW to the mix and it's over."
Within the music industry, Newark, New Jersey native Kenny Bobien is regarded as a 'singer's singer'. So much so, in fact, that he has performed with a glittering array of A-list artists, helping craft their vocal arrangements both on stage and in the studio: Mariah Carey, Lauren Hill, Jennifer Holiday and Teddy Pendergrass are just a few of the names who have benefited from his Midas touch. His debut album, 1999's "Blessed" on indie label Soundmen On Wax, received critical acclaim from Billboard Magazine. His follow up, "Wonderful" co-written with his wife and fellow Soul Groove artist, Stephanie Cooke, was released on Urb N' Flo Records.
