UNITED MUSIC RECORDS
Founded in 2008 by Hallex M, United Music Records is a House Music Label that includes multiple genres of House Music from Afro and Soulful to Deep House. The label is proud to have a talented roster of producers/remixers and artists including DJ Fudge, Jose Marquez, Mijangos, Spinna, Tony Touch, Omar Lye Fook, Hector Romero, Pevent Everett, Timmy Regisford, Adam Rios, Mark Di Meo, Sunlighsquare, QVLN, Nickodemus, Kyodai, MoBlack, DJeff, DJ Spen, Lorenz Rhode, Manybeat, Mr V, Cristian Vinci, and many more. Some of UMR’s most successful releases include: Pedogbepa and Asikolo by DJ Fudge, considered UMR’s Afro House anthems.
Originating in France in 2000 as an events company (under multiple names) with a vision of uniting people through music, UMR created music-based events throughout Europe working with talents such as Laurent Garnier, AME, Dixon, Jovonn, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclar, Djulz, Jazzy Jeff, Derrick May, The Martinez Brothers, Cassius.
UMR became international, expanding their events to Miami’s infamous WMC, Amsterdam’s ADE hailing artists like Danny Krivit, Kenny Dope, Todd Terry, Ultra Nate, Ralf Gum, Jamie Lewis, Terry Hunter, Slick Rick to name a few. In 2011 UMR continued their expansion to Asia creating epic events featuring Basement Jaxx, Karizma, Pablo Fierro, Doc Martin, Osunlade, Sonny Fodera, Naughty by Nature, Claptone, Paolo Rocco, and many more. UMR also participated in Mexico’s Mi Casa Holiday since year one showcasing a night of artists and of course, staying true to uniting music lovers.
For 2022, UMR is cooking up some great projects like new remixes from Hallex M of Da'Ana by Sparrow & Barbossa, as well as an Ichu Terraza Compilation with some exclusive tracks and remixes. UMR also changed its visual identity this year, showcasing the natural world by fusing different animals as a reflection of how humans, despite our differences, are united through music. The visuals are a commentary on the world we live in and where its headed. Therefore, the art in the music is reflection in the artwork of the visuals. Stay tuned…
