JOSI CHAVE

Josi Chave started his musical journey at the tender age of 14 as a dj.
After matric, he entered the world of broadcasting by completing a Broadcasting Diploma in Radio. Josi Chave's love and drive for music inspired him to form his own record label 'Blacknoize' in 2006.

He released his first compilation in 2008 and a follow up in 2009 with Soul Candi.
Josi Chave has worked with some of South Africa's top labels and artist such as DJ Mo Flava (Shelter/Sheer Music),
DJ Zinhle (Kalawa/Sony), Fistaz Mixwell (Shelter/Sheer music) and DJ Tira (Afrotainment) just to name a few.

In 2010 he joined YFM & Became a household name, Mixing live every Wednesday and Co Hosting a Dance show every Friday.
Through out Josi Chave's career thus far he has shared stages with the most prominent DJ's and artists in South Africa as well as abroad; such as Roland Clark, Black Coffee, Vinny, DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Ganyani, Oskido, HHP , Cassper Nyovest , Uhuru
Atjazz ,Black Motion , AKA, Pastaboys, Die Antwoord, T.J Cases and A-Jam just to name a few.
