ATARI SAFARI

Atari Safari AKA Keef and Ben Booker, are a UK DJ/Production duo who hail from the North West of England. Fusing a wealth of creative and technical talents, they take influences from Chicago House, Funk, Soul, Acid and Balearic music to create original tracks.

2021 has seen a rapid and steady progression in their presence. Post lockdown, Atari Safari has had airplay on BBC Introducing Manchester three times over the June/July period at the weekends and their tracks which have made the top ten on the another download site release chart.

From DJing, to events management to production and technical prowess, Atari Safari ticks all the boxes, hosting events across Manchester featuring headliners Danny Rampling, Marshall Jefferson, Graeme Park, Jon DaSilva and Steve Mac giving opportunities to play DJ sets at Sankeys, Tantra (Ibiza) Egg (London) and Club NL (Amsterdam).

Sound engineering and collaboration with a wide variety of artists is a real strength; having toured with Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters, Ministry of Sound and Run DMC and working at major festivals mixing audio for Coachella, Glastonbury, Benicassim and Sonar.

Atari Safari has weekly residencies at Alberts Manchester and the Tipis at Riley Green, plus monthly residencies on major radio stations Ibiza Live Radio (Saturday nights following on from Circoloco) and Data Transmission (Thursday nights), sharing a schedule with the likes of Kaluki, Glitterbox and Alan Fitzpatrick.

Lastly, their personalities are infectious and shine through in their performances, generating a great vibe.
